Library Foundation  - Serving Gilbert and Story City Libraries

The Bertha Bartlett Public Library celebrated 100 years of library services in Story City in 2022.  Now that the building expansion project is complete, we still need your support. The Bertha Bartlett Public Library foundation is a 501C-3 nonprofit organization that has been supporting and improving the Bertha Bartlett Public Library since its incorporation in April 1999. We have also been supporting the Gilbert since they joined us as a partner around 2025. The Foundation uses your donations to support children's programming including after school snacks,  Summer Reading programs, award winning books purchases, technology upgrades, Hoopla (online platform for e books, e-audio books, movies and magazines that is free to patrons)...in short, the Foundation funds our Library to take it from great to extraordinary!  Please consider joining us today by donating to our amazing Library!
