Happy April, Story City!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter filled with family, friends, reflection, and maybe a little chocolate too. As we step into a new month, spring is beginning to show off, and with it comes a season full of activity, connection, and community spirit.

April always brings a fresh sense of energy. From local events and meetings to volunteer opportunities and Main Street happenings, there is so much to look forward to in the weeks ahead.

Most importantly, a strong reminder: without volunteers, these things simply do not happen. The events we enjoy, the festivals we celebrate, the meetings that move ideas forward, and the traditions that make Story City special all happen because people choose to give their time, talents, and heart to this community. Our volunteers are truly the heartbeat of everything we do.

If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, this is the perfect season to step in. Whether it’s helping at one event or serving in a longer-term role, every helping hand makes a difference.
