This week is all about showing up, getting connected, and celebrating what makes Story City so special.

First up......don’t miss our exciting event happening this Tuesday, April 22nd!

A fresh take on networking designed to create intentional connections and strengthen community relationships.

🌱 Plant BINGO
🕖 Starts at 7:00 PM River Bend Golf Course
Join us for 5 fun rounds of BINGO with the chance to win beautiful plants and floral prizes!

💵 $3 per game
💵 $5 for 2 cards per game

Bring your friends, enjoy a fun social evening, and get ready to shout “BINGO!”
All proceeds will help offset the cost of plants for the Downtown Story City Planters

And as we gather this week, it’s also Volunteer Week a time to recognize something we know to be absolutely true in Story City: nothing great happens without people willing to show up and make it happen. 

From welcoming visitors through Tourism, to supporting local businesses with Chamber efforts, to creating vibrancy through Main Street our volunteers are the heartbeat behind it all. 

They’re the ones keeping the Carousel spinning, planning and powering Scandinavian Days, and stepping in wherever needed to make our community shine just a little brighter.

Whether you give an hour, a day, or your whole heart, you are what makes Story City strong.

🌷 50/50 Raffle

Support the beautification of Downtown Story City through our 50/50 raffle.

$5 per card

Drawing at 6:30 PM

Proceeds will help continue efforts to keep downtown Story City vibrant, welcoming, and beautiful for all.

Begins at 7:00 PM

Stay for a fun round of Plant BINGO and a chance to win some greenery!

will be shown at the historic Story Theater on
Friday, April 24th at 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 25th at 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, April 26th at 1:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m.

Admission is only $5 (cash or check only)
Film is rated PG-13
