A Heartfelt Thank You

Well, it’s the Monday after the 60th Anniversary of the Scandinavian Days Festival—and my Apple Watch is still insisting I take a seat and catch my breath (which continues to make me laugh). With 22 miles logged, I can confidently say this weekend was not only a full-body workout, but a full-hearted success!

To every single volunteer who gave their time, energy, and smiles—thank you. And to those who stepped up when we had to pivot (because let’s face it, events this big always come with a few surprises!)—your flexibility and can-do spirit are what kept the magic alive.

This milestone year was unforgettable because of YOU. From the parade to the park, from the laughter of children to the proud moments of heritage on display, it was a weekend full of community, celebration, and connection.

Here’s to 60 years of tradition—and the many more memories we’ll continue to make together.
